What the game handles
Everything below is either stored on your own device or, if you choose to create an account, in the game's Firebase project. Optional items are collected only after you turn them on.
| Data | Purpose | Required |
|---|---|---|
| E-mail address | Signing in to an account and recovering a password. | Optional |
| Display name | Your entry on the in-game leaderboards. | Auto |
| Puzzle progress | Cloud backup, so a new device continues where you stopped. | Optional |
| Scores and solve times | Daily and all-time leaderboards. | Auto |
| Usage and crash data | Finding bugs and seeing which puzzles are too hard. | Opt-in |
Passwords
Passwords are handled entirely by Firebase Authentication. They are stored as a secure hash, and neither the app nor 2C Teknoloji can read them.
Guests
Playing without an account still puts a score on the leaderboards, under an automatically generated name such as Wisp 1234. No e-mail is involved and nothing is backed up.
Usage and crash data
On first launch the game asks whether it may collect anonymous analytics and crash reports. The answer starts as no: nothing is sent until you allow it. These reports cover which screens and puzzles are played and how long they take. They never include your name, e-mail or any message.
On your device
Settings, saved progress and daily-challenge reminders live on the device itself. Reminders are local notifications; they are scheduled by the app and never sent from a server.
What the game never collects
Wispoku does not read your contacts, location, photos, microphone or advertising identifiers. This version shows no third-party advertising, and no data is sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Where the data is processed
Account, progress, leaderboard and analytics data are processed by Google Firebase, specifically Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics and Crashlytics, on Google's infrastructure. Google's terms cover that processing: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Firestore security rules restrict every player to their own records.
Your choices, and where they are
Each of these takes effect immediately, from inside the game.
- Settings › Account › Delete account Removes your e-mail, cloud backup and leaderboard entries. This cannot be undone, and no copy is kept.
- Settings › Privacy › Share anonymous usage data Turns analytics and crash reporting on or off at any time.
- Settings › Account › Sign out Returns the game to guest play. Cloud backup stops; the local save stays.
- Settings › Reset progress Clears levels, statistics and badges on this device.
Children
Wispoku is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. An account is never required to play, and the game asks for nothing beyond an e-mail address and a chosen display name.
